Whenever I go back a watch a classic movie, like Saving Private Ryan, I always wonder why something like that hasn't been recreated. Not just Saving Private Ryan, but good movies in general. It seems like the only movies coming out today are ones that appeal to a 3D audience, even though I have no problem with 2D. Everything today is meant to be bigger, louder and more explosive, some things that can definitely take away from the quality of a movie. In my opinion, films should only be in 2D, because it seems to all get wasted in the 3D.
Now I am not saying that 3D is bad, it is cool for certain stupid movies like "Shark Night", but please don't try and put a decent movie like "Pirates of the Carribbean" into 3D, because it truly takes away from the films core plot, which I could not tell you because that is how much the 3D is distracting. You just sit in the theatre and wait for the next cool thing on the screen to look like it's going to come out and touch you. This silly movie game needs to end.
